We will discuss a full design presented to the client with alternative sketch ideas, before formulating the final working drawings with planting schemes and bespoke furniture idea.

Site Clearence and Groundwork
Clovelly Landscapes are experienced in all forms of site clearance and ground works and are highly skilled in using all forms of mechanical plant/machinery to carry out the following; clearing overgrown sites of all unwanted vegetation, demolition, deep excavations, laying of storm water/fowl drainage, installation of all forms of soakaway, subterranean garden rooms, basements, and terracing of slopping sites.

Patios
Clovelly Landscapes specialise in all forms of paving including ‘Indian sandstone’, ‘Marshalls’ paving, Tobermore, ‘Stonemarket’ paving, Bradstone, and all other paving stockists, softwood decking, hardwood decking, block paving, resin bonded gravel, and rubber matting for children’s playgrounds. Our typical construction technique for all forms of hard paving is: Excavate to 200mm(foot traffic) or 250mm(light vehicle traffic), lay product on 50mm of 6:1 washed sand/cement, on top of 100mm (foot traffic) or 150mm (light vehicle traffic) mot type 1 crushed concrete set to falls and crown point to finish

Clovelly Landscapes specialise in all forms of drive/road surfacing including resin bonded gravel, concrete, block paving (Tobermore Marshalls, Stonemarket, Bradstone) paving slab including indian stone drives or shingle or crushed stone chipping. Our typical construction technique for block paved driveways is: Excavate to 250mm(light vehicle traffic) or 300mm(medium vehicle traffic), lay edging blocks on 50mm of 6:1 washed sand/cement set to falls and haunched to rear, lay matching blocks in a herring bone pattern on 50mm of screeded washed sand, set 5mm above edging blocks, compact to levels and brush in dried kiln sand to finish, on top of 150mm (light vehicle traffic) or 200mm (medium vehicle traffic) MOT type 1 crushed concrete, set to falls

Clovelly Landscapes specialise in the design and construction of all forms of water feature and ponds, which include natural stone waterfalls, contemporary rills, architectural pools, and natural ponds.
